JingJing Zhang is a Full professor in the school of chemistry and chemical engineering in Nanjing University. He received his Ph.D. degree in chemistry from Nanjing University in 2010 with Prof. Jun-jie Zhu. After two years of postdoctoral research in Nanjing university, he moved to Prof. Yi Lu’s group in University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a postdoctoral research associate before joining the Nanjing university in 2019. Dr. Zhang has published 49 SCI papers, and two United States Patents, related to Chemistry, Materials, and Biology in international peer-reviewed journals such as J. Am. Chem. Soc. (2), Angew Chem. Int. Ed. (5), Nano Today (1), Chem. Sci. (3), Clin. Chem. (1) of which some are ESI Top 1% highly cited papers (3), cover papers (3), VIP paper (2), and ACS Editors' Choice (1). Google Scholar Citation: 5, 300;  H-Index: 38 (October 2025). His research interests focus on CRISPR-based diagnostics of Infectious Diseases, synthetic biosensors, and in vivo imaging.
