Personal Profile

Xing-Cai Wu, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, graduated from Sichuan University in 1987, majoring in chemistry, and then received master's and doctorate degrees from the Department of Applied Chemistry, University of Science and Technology of China and the Institute of solid Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. During the postgraduate period, he mainly engaged in the preparation and properties of new superconducting materials synthesis and functional nanomaterials. In 2001, he was introduced to the School of Chemical Engineering of Nanjing University for scientific research and teaching. From July to September in 2010, he became a senior visiting scholar of Prof. Y. Bando Research Group, National Institute of Materials Sciences (NIMS), in Japan. From 9/2012 to 2/2013, he became a visiting professor of Prof. Elsa Reichmanis Research Group, Georgia Institute of Technology Institute of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering in USA. He presided over and participated in the National Natural Science Foundation of China, key projects and the Ministry of Science and Technology 863 and 973 and so on. So far, more than 100 papers have been published in academic journals at home and abroad. A number of papers were written into his review by Indian chemist C. N. N. Rao. He was hired by Journal of Nanomaterials and Progress in Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials magazines as editorial board in 2011.
