陈学太,1964年出生。南京大学教授,博士生导师。1986年在中国科技大学获学士学位。1989年在中国科学院福建物质结构研究所获硕士学位。1989年至1994年在中国科学院福建物质结构研究所工作。1997年在英国谢菲尔德(Sheffield)大学获博士学位。1997年至1998年获德国洪堡基金资助在德国鲁尔(Ruhr)大学做博士后。1999年就职于南京大学配位化学国家重点实验室，1999年至2003年任副教授，2003年起任教授，2004年起任博士生导师。

1989年至1994年在中国科学院福建物质结构研究所工作。

1999年就职于南京大学配位化学国家重点实验室，1999年至2003年任副教授，2003年起任教授，2004年起任博士生导师。

曾长期从事金属有机化学，配位化学与纳米材料的研究。

目前主要开展分子磁性材料的研究: 单分子磁体, 单链磁体及相关磁性配合物。
